Description

The 9th Annual Oxford Neuroscience Symposium brings together neuroscience researchers from across the departments of the University to celebrate the quality of research being conducted. This one day event provides the perfect showcase for the latest developments and offers a forum for networking across groups.

There will be presentations detailing the latest advances across Oxford Neuroscience, interspersed with poster sessions with newer members of the Oxford Neuroscience community displaying their work alongside more established names. The presentations deliver in-depth insights in to some of the latest developments, whilst the poster sessions show the breadth of neuroscience research activity at Oxford and give the opportunity to discuss the research with the people conducting it.

For 2018 we have introduced some exciting new features including an Industry talk and quick-fire 3 minute 3 slide talks. The symposium will also feature the announcement of the BRAINScapes 2018 Neuroscience Image Competition.

There will be a lunchtime Publishing Workshop by Elsevier

We are at the forefront of one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century - deciphering how the brain works. Oxford Neuroscience coordinates neuroscience research across four University of Oxford campuses, including departments at the John Radcliffe and Warneford Hospitals. Our aim is to translate discoveries from the laboratory through to improving clinical practice.
